ESPN executives are clearly unhappy that Jets QB Aaron Rodgers hinted that late-night host Jimmy Kimmel may be on Jeffrey Epstein's client list.
On Wednesday, host Pat McAfee said: pat mcafee show Rogers' comments calm the dust and threaten possible legal action after Rogers said Kimmel would “break some bottles” if he was on pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's client list. tried to avoid it.
“A lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, really hope it never comes out,” Rodgers said in the video.

Kimmel hit back at Rodgers by threatening to sue.
Dear Asshole: For the record, I have never met, flown with, visited, or had any contact with Epstein, other than the obviously bogus nonsense favored by soft-headed weirdos. My name is not on the list either. It seems like I can't tell the difference between myself and reality. your reckless… https://t.co/p8eug12uiS

McAfee said he understood why Kimmel was upset but downplayed the incident, saying Rodgers was just “talking trash.”
“There is no formal outline of what we are going to say. [and] It's how you talk about it,” McAfee said. “There are no scheduled conversations, no scheduled discussions, no topics to think about before participating.
“We get a chance to talk about just about anything for three and a half hours, and by doing that… we can have a good time, we can get some laughs… and on the flip side, certainly, maybe — Aaron on that. “We need to hear from them, but what was intended as a joke could later turn into a serious allegation and could lead to a huge story overnight.”

Mr. McAfee added, “Now, you think that's too much?'' …Jimmy Kimmel certainly said that's the case. ”
Mr. McAfee expressed hope that Mr. Rogers and Mr. Kimmel could reach some type of reconciliation.
“Therefore, we apologized for participating in it,” McAfee continued. “I’m looking forward to seeing what Aaron has to say about this.
“Hopefully these two can work this out. They can move on, chatting and not in court. Because I think it's okay to disagree with other people. Please remember that.”
I have only one opinion. Allegations of being part of a child prostitution ring are a completely different story. It remains to be seen whether McAfee's attempts to calm him down were successful. Mr. Rogers has not yet responded to Mr. Kimmel's threat of legal action.
