‘Heartbroken’ little girl granted one-time hug with ‘The Elf on the Shelf’ before saying goodbye

When 4-year-old Lily Christiana met Crackles the elf for the first time this Christmas season, she instantly fell in love with him and his nighttime antics.

The one-time hug seemed to make Lily happy, and when the hug was over, Lily put Crackles back in the tree, and “he was totally fine,” Christiana said.
