Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw (Texas) slammed Fox News anchor Jesse Watters has accused the network of corruption and claimed the network canceled his appearance in retaliation.
Watters claimed that Crenshaw abused his power by profiting from stock trades, and Crenshaw responded fiercely via his Instagram account.

He also revealed his stock holdings.
“I literally have $10,000 invested in stocks and haven't traded in over a year. I've never invested more than $20,000 while in Congress. Fox knows that, but , they are desperately trying to come up with fake controversies to get clicks,” Crenshaw continued.
“Watters is a tool who makes millions on television to promote conspiracies and bash veterans like me, who only make a fraction of his net worth,” he added. “Wake up, America. The political entertainment industry almost always lies.”
Crenshaw went on to attack Watters, citing their divorce in 2019 after 10 years of marriage.
“A loser like Watters grew up with a silver spoon. Crenshaw posted a list of members of Congress and their stock trades, noting that he was fairly low on the list.
“Why choose me? Because he makes fun of click-chasing clowns. He knows people will recognize and respond to me,” he wrote.
He later claimed that a scheduled appearance on the network was canceled.
“LMFAO, Fox just canceled a pre-scheduled interview tonight,” Crenshaw wrote. “I think I hurt their feelings by hitting on them.”
A spokesperson for Mr. Crenshaw previously told the Daily Caller that the congressman bought the stock when the stock market crashed, adding, “This is exactly what countless other Americans do when investing in the stock market.'' “It's what we're doing,” he said.
Crenshaw's popularity skyrocketed after his Iraq War injuries were mocked by comedian Pete Davidson on Saturday Night Live. Davidson and Crenshaw won praise for their public amends, but the comedian later confessed that he was forced to apologize by SNL show executives.
