Hollywood star Mark Ruffalo, along with former President Donald Trump's 8.2 million X followers, shared a fake AI-generated image that falsely depicted President Trump on a plane “heading to Epstein Island.”
Ruffalo, who has played the Hulk in multiple Disney and Marvel blockbusters, shared an image Thursday from his pro-Biden X (formerly Twitter) account. The AI-generated image shows President Trump posing with a group of young blonde women.
As of Friday morning, neither Ruffalo's post nor the original post had been updated with the community note.
gross. #Maga He wants to paint everyone on those planes as pedophiles, except for one smiling man in a group of young girls heading off together to Epstein's “Fantasy Island.” Masu. My bet is that there are some decent Republicans left in America who think this has gone too far. https://t.co/e0IWT1lnCZ

Many commenters slammed Ruffalo, pointing out that the image was obviously fake.
The fake image was released after former President Bill Clinton's name appears repeatedly in documents released this week about the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. In one unsealed deposition, Jeffrey Epstein allegedly told one of his victims that Bill Clinton liked “young” girls.
This isn't the first time Mark Ruffalo has fallen for a hoax aimed at hurting Trump.
Last year, he discredited former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, who accused then-President Trump of physically attacking two Secret Service agents as they tried to get behind the wheel of the presidential car on January 6, 2021. She was one of several Hollywood celebrities.
