Benjamin Reese, a former seventh-grade social studies teacher at Warner Robins Middle School, was charged with making terrorist threats and cruelty to children on Dec. 8 after he allegedly beat a female student who objected to displaying the national flag. Jennifer Jones, director of schools and community affairs for the Houston County Board of Education, told Fox Digital that Reese currently no longer has a job at the school.

“While I cannot discuss personnel details, I can confirm that Mr. Benjamin Reese is no longer an employee of the Houston County School District,” Jones wrote in an email.
“The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) has the authority to suspend or revoke teaching certifications. When an employee violates the Educator Code of Ethics, we submit a report to the PSC for review. I'll submit it.”
Jones went on to say that the board's first priority is student safety.

According to the incident report, the female student told sheriff's investigators that she found the flag and entered Reese's classroom on Dec. 7, saying she felt uncomfortable because Israelis were killing Palestinians. It is said that he did.
The student said Reese told him he was Jewish, became enraged and accused him of being anti-Semitic.
Witnesses, including staff members, claim they heard Rees yelling profanities and yelling, “You son of a bitch! I'm going to kick you! I'm going to cut your head off!” ! ”

When questioned by a deputy about threatening the student, Reese denied the charges, the report said. He said he told students who were offended by the flag that it was “anti-Semitic” but denied making any racist comments.
Reese said he had nothing further to add and “exercised his civil rights,” according to the report.
The district attorney previously said he planned to ask a grand jury for an indictment in January.
