We Can’t Handle Migrants, But We ‘Encourage’ Them to Work with Police by Being a Sanctuary

On Friday's broadcast of Fox Business Network's “Kabuto: Coast to Coast,” Trenton, N.J., Mayor Reed Gusciora said the city doesn't have the resources to deal with immigrants, but the state of New Jersey does. When asked if he thought we were facing an immigration problem. It's a good idea to state that “sanctuary nations and cities mean different things to different people.” “We encourage immigrants living in the nation's capital to cooperate with police,” Trenton said. That's how I see sanctuary cities being formed. ”

Host Neil Kabuto said, “I wanted to hear your thoughts on New Jersey being a sanctuary state and places like New York City being sanctuary cities. Do you regret that? Do you regret doing that? Because that's not your responsibility to deliver the goods.”

Mr. Gusciola replied: “Well, sanctuary states and cities mean different things to different people. We encourage immigrants living in the capital to cooperate with the police. That’s how sanctuary cities are formed. I look at it. We don't have the resources to house them. As Christians, we want to do the right thing and provide for people. So Congress gives us the resources. I think we need to give or solve this problem.”
