Police in California are searching for a man accused of assaulting a woman who was walking with her baby in a stroller, then assaulting her a second time.
Photos of the suspect released show him carrying what appears to be a stick or pipe. The victims were targeted in broad daylight.

According to FOX 11, the same suspect allegedly attacked a 60-year-old woman less than three hours later, two streets away, after the first attack. Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a “peach fuzz mustache.” Surveillance video captured the man wearing a white hat, a turquoise sweater over a black hooded sweater, blue pants, sneakers, and carrying a black bag and a dark backpack.
“We have increased patrols in the area and are actively searching for this suspect,” LBPD said in a social media post.

People living in the area who received word of the assault told FOX 11 they were reluctant to leave their homes.
“There's just a few sick people around here,” resident Wanda Clayton said.

If arrested, the man is expected to face two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
