MSNBC anchor starts sobbing as he begins Jan. 6 anniversary interview — and observers mercilessly mock him

MSNBC's Jonathan Capehart began sobbing Saturday as he began a Jan. 6 anniversary interview. And observers mercilessly mocked Caster's display of emotion.

What are the details?

Before interviewing former Washington, D.C., police officer Michael Fanone, Capehart's voice began to crack and break as he struggled to say, “I'm going to get through this.”

Mr. Capehart stopped and dabbed his nose with something that looked like a handkerchief or tissue.

“Thank you,” Capehart said to Fanone, his voice still shaking.

With that, the camera quickly moved away from Capehart and focused solely on Fanone. At this point, Capehart's sobs were on full display.

“For what you did for me three years ago today,” Capehart said with little emotion as he continued to thank Fanone.

Fanone initially had his eye on Capehart.

Then, after Capehart went into full sob mode, he averted his gaze downwards.

After regaining his composure, Capehart asked Fanone, “Please tell me your thoughts on this third anniversary.''

How are people reacting?

As you can imagine, Capehart's sob show troubled quite a few celebrities.

  • 'State propaganda has reached a new level' says conservative Colin Rugg Said while calling Capehart's emotional display “unrealistic.”
  • TikTok's library Said“These people are pathetic paid actors!”
  • Author Margaret Kimberley said“Beyond Van Jones, Jonathan Capehart is crying now.”
  • Conservative commentator Carmine Sabia I have written“Jonathan Capehart, you're a woman…The acting is so bad it's hilarious. The more they push this nonsense that January 6th is the same as 9/11, the more it's so funny. It's beyond hopeless.”
  • Podcaster Kyle Becker observed“Capehart actually had tissue props on hand for this act. Pathetic!”

Believe it or not, Capehart pushed back X days after Saturday: “I want to do it again!”

But commenters still didn't leave him alone.

Brandon Straka, leader of the #WalkAway movement for disaffected Democrats, said: told Capehart: “You have had many opportunities to do it again. Your side has relentlessly attacked, beaten, injured, and killed police throughout 2020. You defunded it, you demoralized it. You defended all of this. You didn't weep for any of it.” strange. “

Chad Prather frankly stated“You are an insult to vaginas.”

Another commenter said: lots of black humor:
