“Just before the holidays, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor that required emergency surgery. Thanks to an amazing medical team, the surgery was a success. I am surrounded by support.''I will have to take a temporary break from touring as I will be devoting my time and energy to recovery over the next few months,'' he said in a Facebook post.
The 70-year-old said he plans to perform again once he recovers.
“Disappointing fans and postponing shows is always the hardest thing for me to do, but I have no doubt that I will be working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon. “Thank you so much for all your love and support.” “You have been so generous to me over the years. I will keep your positive messages in my heart. We will provide further updates to you as soon as possible,” Bolton said.
