The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday revealed a large-scale rocket production facility for Hamas. The terrorist organization was used to manufacture long-range rockets that were fired into Israeli cities in order to kill civilians and terrorize the population.
Our military has discovered the largest weapons production site since the beginning of the war. Where did Hamas place it? Breiji is a densely populated area in central Gaza.

IDF spokesman Maj. Gen. Daniel Hagari said in a statement. Said:
In the central Gaza Strip, IDF forces are concentrating on fighting in the central camp area of Albrai. There, they discovered Hamas's main underground weapons manufacturing facility 30 meters underground. The factory produced parts for long-range rockets, mortar bombs, and UAVs. It is built along the Tanchar axis, also known as the Salah al-Din road, and is used by humanitarian aid trucks heading north from Rafah. Hamas has built underground and above-ground terror manufacturing facilities in civilian factory spaces along the humanitarian corridor. We have discovered, dismantled, and are currently destroying these facilities embedded in civilian areas.
era of israel report:
The Hamas stronghold is located along the 1.5 km (1 mile) Salah al-Din road in Breiji and is the largest rocket manufacturing factory ever discovered in the Strip, according to the IDF.
…
All of these sites were located near Salah al-Din, which was used as a humanitarian route for Palestinians to flee from northern Gaza to the south during the early stages of the war.
…
Numerous rockets with a range of 120 kilometers (75 miles) – enough to reach all of central Israel – were found piled up inside the structure.
Locating and destroying Hamas' rocket manufacturing, storage, and launch infrastructure is a key goal of Israel's war in Gaza. The number of rockets fired into Israel from Gaza has decreased since the Israeli Defense Forces invaded in late October, but it has not completely stopped.
