Former Michigan Wolverines football staffer Connor Stallions sent out the following post on social media Monday night while watching his team play Washington in the national championship.

The Stallions released a GIF of a man tipping his hat as the final whistle sounded. It appears to be another boost for the former personnel director, who was fired for his alleged involvement in a sign-stealing scheme that darkened the program during the season.

The Stallions, along with former University of Michigan linebacker Chase Winovich, were also seen in the stands during the team's Rose Bowl win over Alabama on New Year's Day.

He was accused of being the mastermind behind a sign-stealing scheme and resigned from his position in November.

The Stallions have reportedly purchased tickets for more than 30 games at 11 different Big Ten schools over the past three seasons, including this season. Sources told ESPN that the University of Michigan did not play in any of the games for which the Stallions purchased tickets.

According to a report by ESPN, an anonymous former coach in college football's Division III claimed that the Stallions gave him “several hundred dollars” to record the Wolverines' future opponents. The coach added that he received a free ticket and shared the footage in his iPhone photo album.

The former coach said he went to two Penn State football games and one Rutgers game. The University of Michigan is scheduled to play the Nittany Lions next month.

When the Stallions played against Central Michigan State on September 1st, he was reportedly on the sideline wearing a bench badge with “VB” written on it, which is the designation for the visitor's bench. This will allow eligible holders to stand between the 20-yard line, which normally includes players, coaches, team trainers, and equipment staff.

Stallions was initially suspended with pay by the school. He was an off-field analyst for the football team, according to his LinkedIn profile. He reportedly refused to cooperate with the investigation.
