The White House is beginning a review of its Cabinet protocols on delegation of authority following the secret hospitalization of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, according to a memo obtained by Fox News.
The memo from White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients was addressed to the Cabinet Secretary and told the departments to “submit agency-specific delegation protocols to the Office of Cabinet Affairs by Friday, January 12, 2024.” I am instructing you to do so.
