A new poll in Michigan found that voters are more likely to support Trump over Biden, although neither of the front-runners secures majority support, the Detroit News reported. The poll, commissioned by The Detroit News and WDIV-TV, found that 47% of likely Michigan voters support Mr. Trump, while 39% support Mr. Biden.
The paper found that 3% of Michigan voters surveyed said they would support another candidate, while 11% were undecided.
The poll also asked voters whether Biden and Trump had done enough during their time in the Oval Office to deserve a second term, according to the Detroit News. Only 17% said Biden has done well enough to win another term, and 77% said they would like to see someone else in the White House. Meanwhile, 33% said Trump should get another term, and 62% said someone else should be elected.
