Aaron Rodgers cut from ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ for rest of season

Even Pat McAfee is tired of the Aaron Rodgers drama.

The ESPN host announced at the beginning of Wednesday's “Pat McAfee Show” that the Jets quarterback was making his final appearance of the season.

“Honestly, I think a lot of people, myself included, would be happy with this,” McAfee said. “The way it ended got really uproarious. I'm glad he won't be featured in my mentions from now on, which is great news.”

Rodgers was originally scheduled to play through the playoffs, the Post's Andrew Marchand reported.

Rodgers' fourth season as a guest ends amid a feud with Jimmy Kimmel, who suggested the ABC late-night host might be on Jeffrey Epstein's list of associates.

Rodgers' last appearance was on Tuesday, and he spent most of it discussing the Kimmel feud and controversial ideas about the coronavirus.

McAfee remained loyal to Rodgers throughout the drama.

McAfee instead accused ESPN executive Norby Williamson of sabotaging the show after the Post published an article featuring the show's declining ratings.

“I'm never going to act like I'm trying to get people over. But throughout my life, I've seen people doing bad things because I'm a very confident person.” There was definitely a lot of people who wanted to do it,” McAfee said. “If you think you're trying to keep me and my guys back because I'm picky, I'm a hell of a person.”
