“I'm sorry, Mr. Hunter,” Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said as Hunter left with his lawyer. “It seems you're afraid of my words.”

“I think it's clear to everyone watching this hearing today that Hunter Biden is afraid of strong conservative Republican women, because as I was trying to talk to him, he Because you can’t even face my words,” Green continued. “What a coward.”

Wednesday's House Oversight Committee meeting was considering a resolution that would arrange for House Oversight members to vote on whether to hold him in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with a parliamentary subpoena. The eldest son had previously refused to respond to subpoenas to appear for private depositions before the House Oversight Committee and the Judiciary Committee.

Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) said, “I had planned to question Hunter Biden about this transcript during his deposition, but he had two lawful subpoenas.'' It was blatantly ignored.” “Hunter Biden’s willful refusal to comply with the committee’s subpoena is a criminal act. It is a contempt of Congress and, as required by law, warrants referral to the appropriate U.S. attorney’s office for prosecution.” It is something that becomes a reality.”

Despite not appearing for the private deposition, Hunter and his attorneys, Abby Rowell and Kevin Morris, sat in the hearing room until Green had a chance to speak.

But South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace (RS.C.), who was in the audience, accused Hunter of being “the epitome of white privilege.”

“What are you afraid of?” Mace asked. “You don't have a ball.”

“I think Hunter Biden should be arrested here right now,” Mace continued. “And go straight to jail.”

Mace called Hunter's appearance and then sudden departure a “stunt” on social media.

“It's no secret that Hunter Biden uses his privilege to evade responsibility. He showed up at People's Hall as a PR stunt,” Mace said. I have written “It's horrifying that his colleagues across the aisle watch as he spits in the faces of the American people.”
