“I'm sorry, Mr. Hunter,” Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said as Hunter left with his lawyer. “It seems you're afraid of my words.”

Wednesday's House Oversight Committee meeting was considering a resolution that would arrange for House Oversight members to vote on whether to hold him in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with a parliamentary subpoena. The eldest son had previously refused to respond to subpoenas to appear for private depositions before the House Oversight Committee and the Judiciary Committee.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) said, “I had planned to question Hunter Biden about this transcript during his deposition, but he had two lawful subpoenas.''
