Prosecutors have charged a man in Pulaski County, Missouri, with allowing his 16-year-old son to have sex with his high school math teacher.
The victim's father, who has not been identified, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, KRCG report Thursday.
Meanwhile, police identified the teacher as Haley Nichelle Clifton Carmack, 26. Said Monday was arrested Friday in Garden Ridge, Texas.

On Friday, 01/05/24, GRPD received a call regarding a suspected fugitive from Missouri who had fled to a home in Garden Ridge. Members of the department acted on that information and Haley Nichelle Clifton-Carmack was arrested without incident on a charge of domestic battery (endangering a welfare child), statutory rape second degree, and sexual contact with a student. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant for fourth-degree child sexual abuse. Clifton-Carmack was booked into the Comal County Jail awaiting extradition to Missouri.
According to the KRCG article, court documents say the witness told the father about the sexual abuse between the teenage boy and the woman, but the father had already revealed that the two had allegedly been in a “sexual relationship.” It seems like he knew.
According to the KRCG report, the man had students act as lookouts when the two allegedly met for sex while they were at the school.

According to documents, the father was on the phone with Clifton-Carmack when the witness went to his father's home.
When the witness told the father he was coming forward with information, the father replied, “They're trying to do it behind my back, so I might as well let them do it.” He also told the witness that he would lie for his son's sake if necessary.
The detective in charge of the case said that the father knew about the alleged relationship between the two, but covered it up.
According to Lucky R-5 Superintendent Kent Stombaugh, teachers worked She started with the district in early December and was employed at the school for a year and a half, ABC 17 reported.
