“The end of an era” is the only way to describe this groundbreaking news. It's hard to accept and process that because when I think of Nike, I immediately think of Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan.
Anyone who chose Nike Golf made that decision because of Woods, no one else. Current number one Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy have also joined the brand due to his influence.
Woods and Nike's relationship spanned 27 years and was believed to never end. However, he announced earlier this week: A new chapter is coming.
The nearly 30-year agreement has produced so many great moments over the years.

Juggling with Tiger Woods — 1999

Woods' first commercial for the Nike brand was flawless. It features a montage of kids saying “I'm Tiger Woods.”
This commercial is a testament to his influence on golf. Although it's a short and sweet moment, everyone wanted to be Tiger, and people remember it – and probably still do.

This is another moment from Woods' memorable advertising days with Nike.
Classical music selections help build momentum from the backswing to ball impact. Woods wore all black, giving off a silhouetted look. He said nothing, but it was still a work of art.

The Masters and Tiger Woods’ biggest comeback in history — 2019
Woods has experienced many hardships throughout his career. The Green Jacket winner his five times has experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, but he always finds a way to get back up again.
This ad shows the peaks and troughs throughout his career.
When he won his fifth Masters and 15th major championship in 2019, it was nothing short of iconic. Nike put together this ad after he won, which also quickly became a classic.
“It's crazy to think that a 43-year-old who has been through all the ups and downs and just won his 15th major, is chasing the same dream as a 3-year-old,” the ad reads.
At the end of the ad, a young Woods is shown saying, “I want to beat Jack Nicklaus.'' And Nike concludes with the slogan, “Just do it.”
Tiger fans will never forget that victory in 2019. It was one of the greatest moments of all time in any sport.
