Al Jazeera Freelancer, Colleague Killed in Airstrike Were Also Terrorists

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Wednesday that two Palestinian journalists, including an Al Jazeera freelance reporter killed in Sunday's airstrike in Gaza, were also members of the terrorist group.

Al Jazeera report Sunday:

Hamza Dadou, the eldest son of Al Jazeera's Gaza bureau chief Wael Dahadou, was killed in an Israeli missile attack in western Gaza's Khan Yunis.

Journalist Mustafa Turaya was also killed in the attack, and his vehicle was hit by a missile near al-Mawasi, a safe area in the southwest. A third passenger, Hazem Rajab, was seriously injured.

As Breitbart News reported, Al Jazeera condemned the airstrike, as did Reporters Without Borders. However, the IDF said at the time that two journalists were in the car with the terrorist drone operator.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Sunday that the Al Jazeera reporter and another reporter killed in Sunday's airstrike in Gaza were passengers in a vehicle with the drone operator, a Hamas terrorist.

Al Jazeera's role in reporting the war has come under scrutiny for broadcasting anti-Israel propaganda and blocking Palestinians complaining about Hamas (to Al Jazeera reporters' surprise).

Now, the IDF goes further; according to of jerusalem post office:

IDF Chief Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari on Wednesday night presented evidence proving that two Gaza journalists killed by the IDF on Sunday were terrorists.

Regarding Hamza al-Dahdou, the son of Al-Jazeera's Gaza correspondent Wael al-Dahdou, Mr. Hagari said that the Israeli military had discovered internal Islamic Jihad documents in various command centers in Gaza, and that he was a member of a terrorist group. He said he had proven that.

Hagari said similar documents linking another journalist, Mustafa Turaya, to Hamas were discovered by Israeli forces at Hamas headquarters.

Hagari said Thuraya was the deputy head of the terror cell. post.

Several Palestinian photojournalists employed by mainstream Western media organizations have been found to have sympathies with, and even ties to, terrorist organizations.
