Vermont’s Norwich University accuses its ex-president of core values violations

The recently resigned president of Norwich University, the nation's oldest private military college, violated the school's core guiding values ​​and policies, according to the board of governors.

Mark Anarumo submitted his resignation effective Jan. 4, and the board accepted it on Tuesday, according to the board.

The board said it received a report in late November regarding some of Mr. Anarumo's conduct that may have violated school policy. The commission launched an external investigation and preliminary findings determined that Anarumo violated Norwich's core values ​​and policies, and he was placed on paid administrative leave, the commission said.
