Asked who his running mate will be in 2024, President Trump said, “I can't really say. I mean, I know who it's going to be.”

“I'm going to do the show again someday,” Trump said, prompting host Martha McCallum to “give me a hint.”

“What about the guys you've played against?” McCollum asked. “Could you please work with one of them to mend the fence?”

Trump responded, “Oh, of course. I will, I will.” “I'm already starting to like Christy more.”

“Christie for vice president?” McCollum joked.

Speculation about President Trump's running mate has been rampant in recent months, including Republican Rep. Nancy Mace, South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem, Trump's Republican opponent, and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley. Various names are being floated.

Website OddsChecker.com currently listed Noem is the betting favorite, joining Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik and Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
