You know that moment when you weren't paying attention in class, but the teacher called you out and you had to improvise something on the spot?
That's probably how TNT's Ernie Johnson felt tonight as he attempted blowout after blowout. The Milwaukee Bucks dominated the Boston Celtics 100-62, at which point TNT decided everyone had seen enough of this disaster and was going to call it another game.
The only problem was that all the other games were big losses.
TNT came back from a close game between the Celtics and Bucks in the third quarter.
“So this game is clearly out of hand. 100-62…and Oklahoma City, by the way, leads by 36 points at halftime, so we're not going there. So we're going to play the Knicks.” It was a 47-28 game against…” – Ernie Johnson pic.twitter.com/fXJvptd2m8

Today is a special day in the NBA, where nearly every game has been a complete beatdown. I feel sorry for the poor cameramen working at TNT. We were trying to get ready for the game and then we had to stop filming because the Oklahoma City Thunder were completely crushing the Blazers.
But Ernie Johnson is a true professional. It's really hard to throw into another game on the fly, but he was able to get to a game that was going into explosive territory instead of one that was already in explosive territory.
But that didn't even matter.Mavericks vs. Knicks game was a huge hit TNT went. return Bucks vs. Celtics. Poor cameraman, hey.
If there's a lesson here, it's to be thankful for national TV camera crews. Because they showed up in one night and contributed to more than three NBA teams.
