The playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins will be held at Arrowhead Stadium despite subzero temperatures expected Saturday night, Kansas City Mayor Quinton said. Lucas wrote on social media.
After the Buffalo Bills-Pittsburgh Steelers game was rescheduled to Monday night, Lucas responded to calls for the Chiefs-Dolphins game to be postponed as well.

The National Weather Service said Kansas City, Missouri, is expected to experience “dangerously hot and cold temperatures” during the day and into the night. By 7 p.m. Pacific time, temperatures were expected to drop to -2 degrees Celsius, with wind chills reaching around -24 degrees Celsius.
“Having spent several winters in New York State, I respect the need for emergency personnel and first responders to prepare for winter storms,” Lucas wrote to X. “We hope everyone in Buffalo, Western New York and the surrounding areas is safe in this situation.” over the weekend.
