Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones and his entourage returned to the team's locker room looking depressed after Sunday's 48-32 playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.
After fighting for the NFC East title, competing with the Philadelphia Eagles, and hosting a game at AT&T Stadium, where they were undefeated all season, this season ended in another bitter disappointment. The Packers put all the hype aside and shocked Dallas.

“I just want to say this to the fans: How much you deserve to not end up like this,” Jones told reporters immediately after the loss. “I haven't spent any of the last three hours asking how and why this happened. The fact that we thought there was, everyone in this room thought so.” [we] They were in a position to take this thing forward in the playoffs and maybe get to where our dreams might take us. we didn't do that. ”
There was heavy criticism of the team's performance.
“I don't know how to explain what we just saw. There are no strong enough adjectives for how poorly the Cowboys played,” ESPN's Mike Greenberg wrote on X. “It's hard to imagine this won't lead to big changes.”

ESPN NFL reporter Todd Archer urged fans and followers not to be “fooled” by the score. Dak Prescott threw two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, but Green Bay already had a backup.
“Don't be fooled by the final score of 48-32. It couldn't have been closer,” Archer wrote. “This is the Cowboys' eighth one-and-done performance in the playoffs since their last appearance in the NFC title game in 1995.”
Shannon Sharpe writes that Prescott pulled a David Copperfield and disappeared while the defense failed to show up.
“This is the most pathetic, disappointing and humiliating loss in Cowboys history. It's embarrassing,” he added to X.
ESPN's Kevin Clark added, “The Cowboys' failure late on a Sunday afternoon in January is one of the very few things that can unite this country.”
