‘100% Probability’ Major Global Catastrophe Destroys All Technology, Dennis Quaid Explains To Tucker Carlson

Actor Dennis Quaid joined Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson on Saturday to discuss the biggest threats to your life.

I was amazed at how many of you called, texted, and emailed me this weekend to discuss the threat of a post-Quaid solar apocalypse. episode “The Tucker Carlson Encounter” dropped on Saturday. I've written about this risk for years, including a review of Quaid's documentary Grid Down, Power Up and the overall science behind the threat of a technological upheaval on the scale of the Carrington incident in 1859. I'm here. So what do you need to know to stay safe?

“Basically, our sun could create what's called a GMD, a solar storm, that could hit hard and hit our Earth and the magnetic field around it, blowing everything up. There is a 100% probability that there is electricity on the ground, including the entire power grid,'' Quaid explained to Carlson.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one scare the crap out of you From a TV presenter with actual science.

This type of solar phenomenon has happened before, Quaid continued, describing the Carrington phenomenon of 1859. The only technology we had at that time was the telegraph wire. “It disrupted our entire telegraph system,” Quaid noted, and Carlson wondered what would happen to society if a storm similar in size to the one in 1859 were to strike now and destroy the entire power grid. I asked them to imagine it. (Related: 'Hunger, death and destruction': Superstar actor Dennis Quaid issues bizarre warning to society)

“There will be no water from the tap. The whole system is out of order, so we can't get gas to the cars,” Quaid said accurately. “Everything we depended on would be gone. Food would melt in the refrigerator.” Within a year, 90% of the world's population would suffer from hunger, disease, and complete social isolation. You will die in a catastrophe.

This is not some hyperbole spewed out by some unintelligent actor. What Quaid is describing will probably happen sooner or later. If the sun doesn't do it, a bad actor will. To prepare for what happens next, I highly recommend watching the full interview and Quaid's documentary “Grid Down, Power Up.”
