Dramatic security video captures the moment a sheriff's office intercepts four armed thugs attempting to rob a California convenience store.
KTLA-TV got the video Saturday at 1:30 a.m. from the 7-Eleven at the intersection of Victoria Street and Avalon Boulevard in Carson City.
The video shows three alleged armed robbers entering the store through one door and a fourth entering through a side door. They jumped over the counter, guns in hand.
The store employee said he had a gun to his head and was threatened with a knife before a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputy happened to enter the store.
The video shows the deputy immediately draw his duty weapon and call for backup.

“I'm done. Maybe they're going to shoot me. They were screaming because everything happened so fast,” Sergio Flores said.
In fact, he said he felt relieved when he saw the deputy walk into the store.
“When I saw him come in, I knew someone was here to save us,” Flores added.
Video showed other officers arriving to help arrest the four suspects. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Police believe the incident may be related to a series of robberies at 7-Eleven stores in the Los Angeles and Long Beach areas. According to police, the robbers fled the scene with cash, candy and lottery tickets.
One customer at the 7-Eleven expressed anger over the robbery.
“It's not OK for people to think it's OK to go into a store and steal and take money.”Lizeth Cortez he told KNBC TV. “People work hard every day for their money. It's not okay for someone to come in and steal it.”
