So last night, after all the campaigning and spending, Ron, Nikki, and Vivek were once again on the receiving end of President Trump's attacks. The three of them finished in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, just like the girls at the girls' swimming competition. Hahaha, because the man always wins. They join President Trump's long list. Remember the big stage in 2015? What a photo! It's like Justin Timberlake and the rest of NSync. In the end, Trump defeated each of them as if it were Goodfellas' final act. Those weren't arguments. They were crime scenes. There should be yellow crime tape around each podium. Good thing Christie passed away before Iowa. Do you know how much chalk it takes to outline that body of hers? Don't laugh at that. he is having a hard time So last night wasn't really a caucus. It was a corpse. I wonder if Pramila predicted that?
Rep. Pramila Jayapal: Let's talk about the fact that President Trump incited an erection.
And last night, he did. So what do last night's results mean for November? Well, everyone has an opinion, but we can't be sure. The truth is, there are only four people in America who really know what a caucus is, and three of them are Karl Rove. And Kamala thinks of caucuses as plants with pointy things growing on them. But it still looks like the Trump train just rolled out of the station. Not even Pete Buttigieg can derail it. But was it really necessary, since everyone knew something like this was going to happen, even though other candidates spent a combined $250 million on their campaigns? Think about it – he spent $250 million on an election that Republicans knew would end up like this with Trump in the lead. That's a lot of money to waste when you could invest in a few Hunter Biden paintings. The question is: Couldn't the money be directed elsewhere to chase fantasies, such as the person Republicans are trying to defeat in November? No, not Michelle Obama. Who put something like that there? Here's what I'm pissed about, okay?
The caucuses have been called necessary even though we knew Trump would win in a landslide and all the hundreds of millions of dollars spent would be wasted. And what will happen? I received a call 30 minutes later. In theory, it's an explosion. So why wait? oh. That's the exact same reason for ignoring the caucuses. Except now they just wasted millions of dollars proving that point. This is a lot of money that could be used to fight Biden, but it was spent on a foregone conclusion. Look, Trump is far from perfect. Who isn't? he has luggage But let's not forget that most of that baggage was put there by the Democrats. And he makes it easy for them. But they do the same thing with every Republican candidate, no matter who they are. And with every poll showing that the gap between Mr. Trump and his rivals is greater than the gap in Jesse Watters' resume, we have to ask: Was this money well spent? . That's true. At a time when every indicator shows the country is heading in the wrong direction, and when the Democratic Party is prepared to spend Brazil's GNP to keep Mr. Magu's finger on the button, I want to give Mr. Magu's life means a warning. I think what the challenger spent that cash on was in the wrong place. Lo and behold, Bud Light's marketing team spent their money more wisely. Meanwhile, President Trump's train hit more people than any other candidate. It also hit squarely into the collective psyche of leftist media. They currently look as stable as Jerrold Nadler juggling three rotisserie chickens on a unicycle.
Iowa caucuses have lowest turnout in years amid frigid weather
MSNBC reporter: Trump has, in a sense, become a religion for certain segments of the American electorate, particularly evangelicals.
MSNBC's Joy Reid: The state is majority white Christian.
MSNBC's Morning Joe: We can all sit here in sackcloth and ashes and moan about how Donald Trump won 51% of the vote. I have to say that this is not good news for people who actually want to win the general election.
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow: There is an authoritarian movement within Republican politics, and it is not fooled by Trump. They are trying to make President Trump more and more radical.
Good to see Tony Dow still working. And I think he died. anyway. It's still kind of interesting though. But Rachel, I'm so sorry that this happened. But may I suggest something? Maybe go at your own pace. It was going to be a long election and everyone knew what the outcome would be. But you're already starting to melt like a Hershey bar in Anna Navarro's armpits. Yeah, but out of all the media coverage, my favorite is Dick Morris. Do you remember that person? Please observe carefully.
Video of someone walking in during Dick Morris' interview: Well, I think Trump will win big. I think the media is basically trying to downplay it because they're being falsely told that they support Nikki Haley.
Three takeaways from Iowa and New Hampshire's influence
That's perfect. I mean, who knew Dick Morris lived in his YMCA? Tough times. Tough times, my friend. I can't even continue. Of course, DeSantis and Nikki Haley are still in the race and receiving donations. The hope is that the clear front-runner will somehow crash and burn. Hope that lightning will strike. Or if Chris Christie cut his brake line. Yes, he could fit under the car. And for Biden, it will be when they finally admit the obvious and wean him off solid foods. Some Democrats who live in the real world have labeled Biden DNR, not up for re-election. And while Ron and Nikki hang around Vivek, he seems like a smart guy. He knew how this would turn out, so he made his own decision, raised his profile and when the right time came, canceled his campaign. If Trump wins, he's taking a big chance. Maybe a forehead secretary. But it's not bad for someone who thinks Joe Biden should run 7-Eleven.
So all that's left is the clear winner and the other two hoping the main guy gets defeated. It's similar to what's going on around here on this show. Look, I understand. This is our process. And whoever set it up, that's what we have, no system is perfect. But there's no denying that Iowa State was like betting millions of dollars on the University of Michigan vs. the St. Jude All-Stars. All because of the mirage that the Never Trumpers, the media, and the remnants hoped would become reality. Then we head to New Hampshire. Live free or vote for Biden. Nicki is within striking distance and Ron DeSantis is about to be said to be the comeback kid. And millions more were spent on hopes for disaster candidates and their supporters. But as the saying goes, hope is not a means. And the truth is, we're almost certainly headed for a rematch in 2020. And the sooner you accept that, the better. And personally, I like Trump's chances against this guy.

It's kind of sad. While Democrats hope President Trump doesn't make it to November, they hope Joe makes it through Wednesday.
