Kendra Wilkinson ‘hit rock bottom’ after being hospitalized with psychosis: ‘I wasn’t strong enough to live’

Kendra Wilkinson reflected on her dark past after being hospitalized for severe panic attacks.

“I was in a state of panic. I didn't know what was going on in my head and body and why I was crying. I hit rock bottom,” she told People magazine in her first interview since being hospitalized. He spoke clearly. September.

Last September, Wilkinson suffered a panic attack and was rushed to the emergency room, a representative for the “Girls Next Door” alum confirmed to Fox News Digital at the time.

Deputies said Wilkinson is expected to be released the same day.

Meanwhile, reality TV star Wilkinson revealed she had to return to hospital a week after being released from the emergency room.

Wilkinson added that her doctor prescribed the antipsychotic drug Abilify and that she went to therapy three times a week after being admitted to the hospital.

She went on to explain that professionals helped her deal with unresolved trauma stemming from living in Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion and her 2018 divorce from former NFL player Hank Baskett.

Wilkinson rose to fame at the age of 18 as one of Hefner's girlfriends on the series “Girls Next Door.''

“Looking back on my 20s is not easy. I had to face my demons,” she admitted in a new interview.

“Playboy really messed up my life,” the former model confessed.

“It was the lowest place I've ever been in my life. I felt like I had no future. I couldn't see forward in the face of depression,” she said. “I had given up, but I couldn't see the light and I had no hope.”

The “Kendra Sells Hollywood'' star said that before she was hospitalized, she was struggling with her job in real estate and was unable to eat or sleep regularly because of it.

“'How am I going to be successful?' 'What am I doing wrong in life?' 'Should I give up?'” Wilkinson said of his racing thoughts.

The mother-of-two went on to tell the media that she felt lonely and embarrassed by the divorce.

“It was so scary for me to go through that. I wasn't focusing on myself or my mental health. Here I was, a single mom, and I'd been lonely for years already. But… “It's easy to feel like the world is falling apart,'' she said, “I'm giving in to you.''

“I was trying to fight on my own. I was trying to heal myself, but I can't. I was isolated, hiding, blaming myself, blaming the world. I was spiraling out of control. I felt like I wasn't strong enough to survive.”

Ms Wilkinson admitted she had difficulty asking for help until she realized she needed her ex-husband to take her to the hospital.

“That day, accepting help and Hank driving me to the hospital was a big day in both of our lives. It was also a big day in my family and my children. “I didn't realize how much I was suffering, I didn't understand the suffering that people were in.” “I didn't realize until I got there that I looked at me. I really looked in the mirror and said, 'I need help. I had to think, 'Yes.'
