Breitbart News exclusively reported that Maryland's top two Republicans have endorsed former President Donald Trump as a 2024 presidential candidate.
Two top Republicans, former Trump 2016 deputy campaign manager and current Republican National Committee member Dave Bossie and Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.), actually joined Trump more than a month ago. It appears that the Trump campaign wanted to express their support. This is to build momentum for the New Hampshire primary on January 23rd after the Iowa caucuses.

“Now more than ever, we need President Trump to make America great again,” Harris, the only Republican in Maryland's congressional delegation, said in a statement of support obtained exclusively by Breitbart News. ” he said. “When they vote this November, I look forward to making sure all Marylanders know just how terrible the last three years under President Joe Biden have been for America.”
Bossie, the state's Republican national committee member, added that President Trump's policies will help everyone.
“I am enthusiastic about supporting Donald J. Trump as a candidate for president in 2024,” Bossie said. “Are Americans better off today than they were four years ago? The answer is a resounding no. Joe Biden's socialist policies have failed across the board, and America needs Donald Trump's strong leadership now more than ever. I look forward to supporting President Trump's campaign in Maryland and across the country with his optimistic message of making America great again. President Trump's America First policy will save America with a strong economy and border security at home, and peace from foreign powers. ”
They are a rallying cry for the party nationally in support of President Trump as he seeks to defeat his remaining rivals, close the Republican presidential nomination early and embark on a historic rematch with Democratic President Joe Biden. These are the latest top Republican politicians to demonstrate this.
The Trump team rolling out these endorsements followed former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, an avid Never Trump Republican establishment figure. approved Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is running for the 2024 Republican primary. Hogan endorsed Haley just before the Iowa caucuses, but Haley's weak performance on Monday appears to have slowed her momentum heading into the New Hampshire primary.
Latest polls from USA Today Republican primary voters in Suffolk, New Hampshire, showed Trump winning by a double-digit margin over Haley, giving the former president a 50% majority. Meanwhile, Haley is far behind Trump at 34%. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who also had a bad night in Iowa on Monday, has just 5% in the latest poll in New Hampshire, while undecided voters total 6%.
