Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce has been nominated for the People's Choice Award for Athlete of the Year.
Apparently Mr. Kelce won't vote for him.
“It's bullshit,” Kelce said. Podcast “New Heights” and his brother Jason Kelce.

“What did I do to win Athlete of the Year? I did 'SNL,'” Kelsey added.
Kelce was one of a star-studded candidate list that included LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, Coco Gauff, Lionel Messi, Sabrina Ionescu and Simone Biles.
Despite his thoughts on the matter, Kelce had a productive 2022 season that ended with the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory over his brother, the Philadelphia Eagles, in February. Kelce had his seventh consecutive season with over 1,000 receiving yards in 2022, completing 110 passes for 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns.
However, the 2023 season was not a typical season for Kelce, as he was unable to continue his 1,000-yard streak. He fell short, totaling 984 yards receiving.
However, the Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins at home in the frigid cold last weekend to advance to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. Kelce caught seven passes on 10 targets for 71 yards in the win.
Off the field, Kelsey's stardom has further expanded due to her relationship with music megastar Taylor Swift.

The “Swifties” army is fully invested in this relationship, and so are other teams across the NFL world. Swift, a five-time People's Choice Award nominee, has appeared in several Chiefs games, including Saturday night's icy game in Kansas City.
But Kelce never brought it up when discussing his nomination, saying, “What do I think about this?”
Jason thinks podcast listeners should rig the People's Choice vote so his brother can win the award.

The Chiefs will be in Buffalo this weekend against the Bills and Josh Allen, who has yet to beat Kansas City in the postseason.
Kelce helped force overtime in the 2021 AFC Divisional Round Classic and finished by securing an overtime touchdown.
