According to the latest broadcast from Suffolk University/NBC10 Boston/Boston, former President Donald Trump has solidified his lead in New Hampshire ahead of the nation's first primary election, with Nikki Haley in clear second place and Ron DeSantis in third place. A poll released Wednesday morning showed Trump with 50% of the vote, Haley with 34% and DeSantis with just 5%. Additionally, 3% chose another person, 6% were undecided, and 2% refused to answer. The survey was conducted Jan. 15-16 among 500 likely Republican primary voters. The margin of error is 4.4%.

Among independents, Haley leads Trump by a margin of 44% to 38%, but among Republicans, Trump leads by 61% to 24%. Among people who consider themselves moderates or liberals, Haley leads 56% to 27%, while conservatives choose Trump by a wide margin, 67% to 18%.
When asked about their second choice, 30% said DeSantis, followed by 10% for Haley and 7% for Trump.
