The calm island of Zakynthos with sulfur
We stumbled upon it on an off-season trip to Zakynthos, a Greek island notorious for drunken British teenagers. shigia sulfur East coast beaches. Since it's a sulfur spring, the first thing I noticed was the smell of rotten eggs. Despite the smell, it's great. The sparkling turquoise waters are surrounded by towering cliffs and sulfur bubbles from the ocean floor. Swimming at this beach is good for the skin and is generally said to have therapeutic properties. There are other small coves nearby, connected by paths.

Island idyll, Galicia, Spain
on the golden sand Praia de Rodas Sit with the ocean in front and the back and enjoy the dreamy panoramic views. There are no cars or hotels. We booked in advance and camped for one night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hike to the old lighthouse is also great.

Walking through the canyons of Mallorca

When you think of a beach trip in southern Europe, there's only one place that comes to mind. It's a secluded place. Torrent des Palais It is located on the northwest coast of the island. With beautiful, calm and crystal clear waters, this dream beach is also unique in that it is accessed by a kilometer-long tunnel passage through a narrow gorge (though there is also a ferry option during the summer). As it is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the scenery is truly spectacular. Also, there are no loungers, umbrellas or water sports. Come here on a weekday to avoid the island's crowds of tourists, bring your towel, and prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime sunset.

Picasso's choice of France, the Cote d'Azur

No sand (only pebbles), messy Mouette (seagulls) may swoop down on your sandwich, or the price of lunch at an impossibly chic beach club may bring tears to your eyes. But no other beach in the world can compare to this one Paloma. Located on the Cap Ferrat peninsula, it still retains the charm of old southern France. The turquoise waters shimmer, the air smells like pine, and the views to Cap d'Ail and beyond are breathtaking.Picasso loved it so much that he named this beach after his daughter Paloma. When he found paradise, he knew it.

Gliding over the dunes, Huelva, Spain

my favorite beach is matalascañas Southeast of Huelva. The actual beach stretches for at least eight miles and is located within Doñana National Park. Its length means you can quickly walk to a secluded spot away from the crowds. I paraglided from the dunes, soared over the dunes, soared over the geothermal fields, and looked down on amazing views. Rancho Pichirin, an open-air fish restaurant run by local fishermen and only accessible on foot through the dunes. Although shabby, it serves great fish dishes at reasonable prices.

Reminds me of the Greek island of Crete.

Sweetwater Bay (also known as Glycanella) is located on the south coast of Crete, between Lutro and Chora Sfakion, and is surrounded by mountains and can only be reached on foot (1 hour from either town) or by boat. . Despite this poor access, there is a small friendly taverna perched on a rock facing the sea, accessible via a narrow bridge. The name comes from the freshwater springs that spring up on the coast. Enterprising taverna owners installed solar-powered showers with icy spring water. Due to its remote location, some tourists choose to skinny dip, but it is not compulsory.

Winning tip: Corsica's insanely Caribbean beaches

A wonderfully secluded spot tucked away in the south-west corner of Corsica. Plage de Cupavia. Crystal clear, unusually warm Caribbean-style waters sit in a pristine amphitheater surrounded by rocky coves and stunning stretches of white sand. It's located 15 miles north of Propriano down a winding semi-asphalt road. Despite having ample free parking, he only has one restaurant, Waikiki, a small restaurant along the beach.
