Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) will speak at former President Donald Trump's campaign event in New Hampshire on Sunday, just days before the state's primary election begins.

The former president, considered the Republican front-runner, easily won the Iowa caucuses on Monday by a double-digit margin over his rivals. Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley won one of the 99 counties, but finished third behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Trump's near-overwhelming victory in the Hawkeye State shows his control over the Republican Party. With just days left before the second round of voting this year, the former president is trying to maintain her lead as Haley continues to gain momentum in the state.
Trump currently leads the state with 45.6 percent support, according to The Hill/Decision Desk polling average. Haley, who has made significant strides in recent months, came in second with a 35% approval rating, followed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (Republican) with a 5.8% approval rating.
Gaetz has previously said that DeSantis would be a good Republican candidate in 2024, but only if Trump is no longer considered. He also hinted that the governor and the former president would team up in the spring, calling the prospect “excellent” at the time.
