A poll conducted by Tony Fabrizio found former President Donald Trump with a double-digit lead over former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
trump pollster found Trump leads Haley in the Palmetto State, with a majority backing him, at 64% approval rating in the state. Haley is 39 points behind in her state, and his approval rating stands at just 25%. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' approval rating has fallen to single digits at just 8 percent.
Additionally, a majority of Haley's supporters (58%) said they would “definitely” vote for Trump, while 18% of Haley voters said they would “definitely” vote for Trump. The survey shows the strength of Trump's support base.
Additionally, the poll showed that Trump would benefit more than Haley if DeSantis dropped out of the race, as the Florida governor would draw more supporters to Trump. In a head-to-head race, Trump leads Haley by 40 points.

The survey surveyed 600 likely South Carolina Republican primary voters. It comes ahead of primaries in New Hampshire and South Carolina, where Trump is looking to crush his rivals in the same way he won in Iowa, where he won in a landslide in the caucuses.
Notably, Trump's former rival, Sen. Tim Scott (R-South Carolina), appeared alongside Trump at a rally in New Hampshire and is expected to support him. This would be a huge blow to Haley, causing her to lose significant support in her home state.
