Three shoplifters fled a Northeast Philadelphia Walmart Thursday night, leaving behind a 3-month-old baby girl, police said.

Police received a report of a theft in progress at Walmart in the 4300 block of Byberry Road around 11 p.m. WCAU-TV reportedHe added that the guards told responding officers that the three men were shoplifting and tried to stop them.
However, the department reported, citing investigators, that the three suspects fled the store, leaving the infant behind.
The girl was taken to the hospital for tests and is in good condition, police told WCAU.
The suspects were identified as two black men and a white woman. Philadelphia Patch reported.
WCAU noted that police have not released photos or detailed descriptions of the three suspects. United Press International stated: law enforcement officer told the Philadelphia Examiner Authorities are in contact with one of the infant's parents, who is not believed to be involved in the suspected shoplifting incident.
