The University of Florida is under investigation for recruiting a quarterback it ultimately didn't land.
According to multiple reports Friday, the school is under investigation regarding the recruitment of quarterback Jaden Rashada, who ultimately committed to Arizona State University.
Rashada, a California native, originally signed with the Gators in December 2022, but later requested release from his National Letter of Intent after a $13 million NIL deal with independent Gator Collective fell through. did.
According to “The Athletic”the Collective withdrew from the deal and ultimately disbanded, but the 2023 No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in ESPN's rankings then received a request from his letter of intent and transferred to Arizona State University, which his father, Haren, also attended. Rashada's name was not mentioned in the initial notice.

Rashada started the season as the Sun Devils' starter and led the team to a victory over Southern Utah.
