Those close to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are expressing disappointment with his decision to withdraw from Sunday's Republican primary. Many, but not all, posted harsh messages such as “We reap what we sow,'' highlighting the Florida governor's strong influence. We are not going to unite behind former President Donald Trump.
While many in the political world cheered Mr. DeSantis' decision to unite the party and support Mr. Trump in the primary to focus on defeating President Biden in November, many of Mr. DeSantis' online influencers has a much harder time letting bygones be bygones.
“Now it's 'Governor Ron DeSantis,' right?” Jenna Ellis sarcastically asked in response to the Trump campaign's statements about DeSantis' withdrawal from the race and subsequent support for Trump.
“Is Rob DeSanctimonius no more? Should we all just forget? They think so. I don't. Here's the thing that says, 'It's time to choose wisely. “It’s bold to use that line,” she said.
“Instead of trying to seriously recruit DeSantis supporters, the Trump campaign is saying goodbye to @bobvanderplaats and evangelicals who wanted to be post-Trump,” she claimed.
Right now, it's Governor Ron DeSantis.
Is Rob DeSanctimonius no more? Should we all just forget?
That's what they think. I don't.
It's bold to use the line “It's time to choose wisely” here.

“It was all just psychotherapy. So you guys still don't believe any of Trump's promises?!” she declared in another post.
It was all just psychology. And yet you still don't believe anything Trump promises? https://t.co/Wonkfj3nMd

“We are not united behind Mr. Trump,” Robert Salvador, a DeSantis adviser, said in an X message, citing issues with the former president.
We are not united as Trump supporters.
A list of what his hired guns did to DeSantis supporters:
-Called Casey's Cancer Fake
-Dox women, children
-Racist, sexist, anti-Semitic posts
-try to get them fired from their jobs
– slander a good personTrump thanks fat POS @Ryota_Dilley .

The main reason I don't fully support it @RobertKennedyJr But as a DeSantis supporter, I've seen him kiss Trump's ass too much lately.
We'll soon find out if he's a serious candidate or just an ass-licker for President Trump. https://t.co/97Gff63gsz

I won't vote for Trump.
I will not vote for Biden.
People on the right will say it's a vote for Biden. I would say that with Trump as the nominee, Biden's victory has already been solidified.

“The people who primarily poisoned DeSantis supporters and attacked our wives and children and parents and tried to get us fired and put us out of work want to pretend that none of that happened. . That's not going to happen,'' said Pedro Gonzalez, a pro-DeSantis influencer exposed by Breitbart News last summer.
The people who primarily vilified DeSantis supporters, attacked our wives, children, parents, and tried to get us fired and put us out of jobs want to pretend that nothing like that happened. . That won't happen.

“It's a sad day for America,” host Steve Diese said. “Fear that we are making the same mistakes that the currently dominant generation has consistently made over and over again, and that we are closer than ever to losing this once exceptional country. is being attacked.”
“And this time, it was to bypass the most successful Republican politician so far this century, because we needed someone as ruthless and capable as DeSantis has proven.” “But sadly, we reap what we sow.”
A nice and classy closing message, but I wouldn't expect anything less from such wonderful people. @RonDeSantis and @CaseyDeSantis.
It's a sad day for America. We are haunted by the fear that we are making the same mistakes that the currently dominant generation consistently makes over and over again. https://t.co/2M6dKkHjbr

Other DeSantis supporters weighed in as well. Some opinions were cautious, while others were hostile.

I have worked for many civil servants, but only one truly served his country selflessly. @RonDeSantis It's real. As someone who loves implementing good policies to help people, supporting this man felt fulfilling.

I'm incredibly proud of what I've been fighting for. @RonDeSantis And I will continue to do so. The Governor is a true public servant, a tireless conservative warrior who fights for the people, and a unique leader with a track record of delivering on 100% of his promises. I trust…

You can argue as much as you like in your replies, but I'm not convinced by the man in his 80s who called the heart rate claim “terrible” and flipped his hem on the question of whether a man can be a woman. It's not going to be a revolution to conservative values, where a man becoming a woman is the “best” option to lead, even if you appreciate it…

Obviously, I will not vote for Biden or any other Democrat. That said, Trump's job is to prove that he is the better candidate overall, at least when it comes to winning my vote and support. @RobertKennedyJr. Here's where we stand so far on some key issues:

On Tuesday morning, I posted that the primaries were over. DeSantis supporters were upset, but math is math.
Ron's speech was that of a politician who wanted more than anything to defeat left-wing policies.
Sadly, Trump supporters are still attacking him and his supporters. Stupid move…

Despite all the emotions and opinions, DeSantis said in his closing message: “It's clear that the vast majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another chance.” .
