Lawmakers face next funding deadline

Leaders on both sides of the aisle were able to reach agreement earlier this month on the top lines of 12 annual government funding bills for fiscal year 2024.

But top spenders say they still don't know how the money will be distributed among the measures. Spending negotiations continue.
