Woman dies in French farmers' protest

A woman was killed this morning when her car crashed into a barricade set up by protesting farmers in southern France, Reuters reported, citing a police spokesperson.

A spokesperson said:

A car crashed into a farmhouse barricade. It hit three people. One woman was killed and two others were seriously injured. The three people in the car were arrested.

French authorities have clarified that the 14-year old who was injured when a car hit a farmers’ roadblock has not died, contrary to information communicated earlier.

14-year-old boy dies after French farmers protest

The 14-year-old daughter of a woman killed in a car crash while protesting the French farmers' blockade also died from severe injuries in the incident, BFMTV reported. report.

Germany's Constitutional Court today ruled that far-right parties should have their tax cuts revoked, Deutsche Welle report.

The case involves a political party called Die Heimat (Fatherland), formerly the German Nationalist Democratic Party (NPD).

The party has not received any subsidies recently, but a court ruled that the party's tax cuts must be canceled for six years and state aid canceled.

Woman dies in French farmers' protest

A woman was killed this morning when her car crashed into a barricade set up by protesting farmers in southern France, Reuters reported, citing a police spokesperson.

A spokesperson said:

A car crashed into a farmhouse barricade. It hit three people. One woman was killed and two others were seriously injured. The three people in the car were arrested.

Germany prepares for six days of 'massive' rail disruption

Germany is preparing for a major strike by the train drivers' union GDL, which is scheduled to begin on Wednesday and last until Monday.

“GDL has announced strike action for the period from Wednesday 24 January 2024 to Monday 29 January 2024,” Deutsche Bahn said. I have written.
