The past five weeks have been tough for the Brooklyn Nets, who have lost 15 of their last 19 games.
Perhaps the most painful loss was Sunday.
Brooklyn led the Clippers by 10 points, 101-84, entering the fourth quarter and held an 11-point advantage with 5:30 remaining.
But Los Angeles outscored the Nets 22-0 in the closing stages to get a miraculous cover, handing Brooklyn its 10th loss in its last 12 games.
The Nets return from a three-game road trip to take on the New York Knicks at Barclays Center on Tuesday.
Knicks vs. Nets predictions
(7:30 p.m. ET, TNT)
The Knicks have been on a roll, winning seven of nine games in January, including three straight. Jalen Brunson scored 38 points to lead Toronto past the Knicks 126-100 on Saturday.
The Nets are looking to avenge their 121-102 home loss to the Knicks on Dec. 20, when they were limited to 37 percent shooting from the floor.
After winning nine straight in the series, Brooklyn has lost three straight to the Knicks, all by 18 points or more.
Mikal Bridges struggled in the December matchup, making just 4 of 21 shots. Bridges has been on a scoring spree lately, averaging 22.0 points per game over the past six games.
The Knicks have finished with a total under in 10 of their last 11 games, and prior to their blowout win over the Nets, the total remained under 233.
