Patrick Mahomes Sr. is being talked about more than usual due to being in the same circles as Taylor Swift, but things may be getting out of control.
The former major leaguer, who is the father of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was present in the star-studded suite (where Jason Kelce went shirtless) for Sunday's Chiefs-Bills game. I found myself at the center of an internet rumor. At Highmark Stadium.
“Now, you know what's funny? People thought that was me and that wasn't me,” Mahomes Sr. said in a recent article. WFAN Radio “Evan & Tiki”.
Mahomes Sr. celebrates Kansas City's lead in the third quarter after a video of a man linking arms in a suite and staring somberly at Swift and Brittany Mahomes goes viral, with the Chiefs trailing the Bills 27-24. It became a hot topic when he won.
Mahomes explained that he was in a separate room during the game.
“I was actually two booths down and he immediately [Kelce] started doing that [going shirtless] I looked down and I saw it,” Mahomes Sr. said.
“I was in the booth with Taylor before and she was so sweet and genuine and everything was great. I went there and after the game, after we won, I played with them a little bit…and said hello etc.
“But they're both funny guys. If you think Jason is wild, you should meet Travis.”
Mahomes Sr. said Travis is like another son to him.
When asked if he would be “sitting in with the crazies” at Sunday's AFC Championship game between the Chiefs and Ravens in Baltimore, Mahomes Sr. said: Said“I hope that doesn't happen.”
We couldn't tell if he was joking or not, but the hosts burst out laughing.
“No, I don't think so,” Mahomes Sr. said. “Travis usually has his own thing, Patrick has his own contract,” Mahomes Sr. said.
“…If Taylor wants her own suite, I think she has enough money to get what she wants.”
Travis and Swift went public with their relationship in October of last year, a month after they first started dating.
