Turning Point Finds 4.5M ‘Disengaged’ GOP Battleground Voters

LAS VEGAS, NV — Turning Point Action, the political arm of Turning Point USA led by conservative movement leader Charlie Kirk, has identified more than 4.5 million so-called “leave” Republican voters in several battleground states across the country. did. 2020 to 2024 presidential election results.

The group held its first-ever “Restore Public Trust” event Monday and Tuesday at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, where county Republican Party candidates from 75 of the nation’s top 100 battleground counties were invited to participate. Get on the chair and fly away. As reported by Breitbart News, the event is in contrast to the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) winter meeting, which will be held from January 30 to February 3 in the same city. Designed to show what event organizers including some show. That’s what RNC members should do. The name of this counter-event, “Restoring Public Confidence,” even trolls his RNC with the same acronym as the Republican National Committee.

“This is a turnout game,” Kirk, who heads Turning Point, told Breitbart News. “It’s the exact opposite of what people believed. I’m very, very focused and will continue to look at these numbers for quite some time. I believe it all comes down to three states. Trump. will win Iowa. He will win Ohio. He will win North Carolina by a small margin, but it won’t be a disaster. He will win Florida by a million votes. I don’t think Mr. Trump even needs to campaign aggressively in Iowa, Ohio, or Florida. He needs to give his all to Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin. Georgia, I’m feeling better and better. Republicans are really coming home. They outnumber Democrats 1.5 to 1 in voter registration. Arizona, I think we’re starting to get our act together. We’re headquartered there. We’ve got a great new state party chairman who really knows what he’s doing. Wisconsin, I’m concerned. The problem is, when I talk to some of these people, , and they say, “Oh my god, it might be Pennsylvania.” I’m not that bullish on Pennsylvania. It’s a big state. If Pennsylvania falls, that means Wisconsin falls too. You see, it’s a turnout election. I wholeheartedly believe that, but it comes down to, “Can we really get 50,000 to 60,000 more Republicans?”

Interestingly, here on Monday morning, county-level Republican chairmen across the country include precinct-specific data for that county, as well as state-level data for Turning Point Action’s Tyler Bowyer, who is also the Republican National Committeeman. A binder was provided. Arizonans are considered “low Republican leaning voters.” Broadly applied, this definition basically refers to voters who did not vote in the 2016 or 2020 presidential elections, but have been identified as likely to vote Republican in the presidential election.

“This is what the left is aiming for on their side,” Bowyer told the assembled crowd. “They’re fixated on so-called low-propensity voters, low-information voters, or unlikely voters or apathetic voters. We call these apathetic voters “apathetic voters.” why? I don’t care if they voted in 2022 or 2018 or any other time. All I know is they didn’t vote in 2016 and 2020, and that’s scary. No matter who does it, he’s a scary person. ”

“We have to squeeze out as many votes as possible to throw a monkey wrench into the left’s Moneyball game,” Bowyer added in his remarks to the crowd. “This is why we’ve developed a national alliance. If you’re in your state, you can work on a Turning Point Action team. We provide every resource possible, starting with what’s in the binder. So I want to draw your attention to you, and I want to give a big shout out to our data team, in the binder that you received, each of you below. It’s your county’s Bible, so to speak. If you’re one of the important states, you need a state version for your state, and your county also needs a state version. We’ve completely analyzed the data on where voters are located and mapped it down to the precinct and ward level. So now your specific county binder will contain what we consider “super chase” districts. The details are listed from top to bottom. What it means, when we use this term, and you’ll hear some of us and our staff talk about it often over the next few days, is the Super Chase District. Through our methodology in 2016, districts that: And in 2020, there are more than 200 registered Republican voters, or certain Republican voters, who did not show up for that precinct. ”

The numbers, provided exclusively to Breitbart News by Turning Point Action, are staggering. The group identified 4,571,210 Republicans across 10 swing states who did not vote in 2016 and 2020. The 10 states included in the count are Florida, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, Arizona, North Carolina, and Nevada. In 2020, Trump won Florida, Iowa, Ohio, and North Carolina, but Democratic President Joe Biden won the remaining six states, and the total number of voters who lost Republican support in each state exceeded Biden’s margin of victory over Trump.

In Pennsylvania, for example, the difference between Trump and Biden was 80,555 votes. According to an analysis by Turning Point Action, 589,350 voters lost their support to the Republican Party, more than seven times that difference. In Michigan, Biden defeated Trump by a margin of 154,188 votes. Turning Point Action found that there were 490,630 uninterested Republican voters there, a difference more than three times as large.

It was even worse in states like Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia. In Georgia, that margin was 11,779 for him, and according to Turning Point Action, the number of voters who lost their Republican support was 539,480 for him, more than 45 times that margin. In Arizona, the difference between Trump and Biden was 10,457, and Turning Point Action identified 286,440 uninterested Republican voters in Arizona, a difference of more than 27 times. . In Wisconsin, 20,682 votes separate Trump and Biden, and Turning Point identified 542,720 voters who are antipathetic to the state’s Republican base. This is more than 26 times the margin.

In Nevada, where the convention will be held, the difference between Biden and Trump in 2020 was 33,596 votes; That’s more than four times as many.

Turning Point Action is running a large-scale “ballot tracking” program in three states: Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia to get these people to vote.

Asked to explain what ballot tracking is, Kirk said, “It’s a little shaky, but you can’t touch the ballot.” “Ballot harvesting is illegal in these states. We actually respect the law. We follow the law, but bad guys break the law. It’s actually ballot harvesting, but We do not touch the ballots. We understand that there is a voting month, but then we find people with low turnout. In any case, we do not touch the people who come to vote. I’m not interested. That’s one of the problems with the RNC. The RNC is focused on moving people who already voted on Election Day into the early voting category. It’s not a new vote. It’s not a new vote. So we go out and find these low-propensity voters and try to get them to submit their ballots within 30 days, and we do that in a variety of ways. We will have 300 full-time employees in Arizona and Wisconsin. To my knowledge, this will be the largest full-time field staffing in modern conservative political history.”
