The host of “The Televised Asylum, Known as MSNBC” can’t help but gloat after he was caught taunting Biden, thinking his microphone was off.
That’s exactly what happened to Joy Reid recently.
Dave Rubin plays a clip in which Reed accidentally reveals his true thoughts about the president.
“Over the weekend, President Biden said he was ready to take action if Congress was serious about solving the border problem,” Reade said, adding that Biden said he would “close the border now and solve it quickly.” A video was aired stating that. Congress will “get it done.”
But Reade apparently thought Biden’s microphone was turned off during the video. That’s because viewers can clearly hear her muttering, “There’s another fucking war” in the background.
“Did Joy Reid say the quiet part out loud?” Dave laughs, explaining that “pre-programmed robots who are paid by machines to spout nonsense” begin to “break down”. He added that he loved it.
After a commercial break, Reed returned and apologized for his comments.
“So I just want to apologize right away. I was chatting while the clip was playing, but as you know, we’re trying to keep this show closer to PG-13, so behind the scenes… I would like to apologize to anyone listening to my chat. I am deeply, deeply sorry for this,” she said.
Dave is completely unimpressed by Reed’s fake apology.
“Think about how contrary that is to what I’m doing here,” he says, adding that whether people love him or hate him, he’s honestly speaking his mind. admitted.
“When I throw to a clip that’s about to turn, do you think? [the producers] Like, “This is how I really feel about it”? That is so deep and evil BS. ”
