A super PAC supporting President Biden’s re-election campaign plans to spend $250 million on advertising, making it the largest single-buy advertising campaign by a super PAC in U.S. history, according to reports.
Spending from super PAC Future Forward will be split between $140 million in TV ads and $110 million in digital ads. new york times report. Starting this week, Future Forward is booking ads to run after the Democratic National Convention in August until Election Day.
The ad comes after some polls showed former President Donald Trump, who is likely to be his Republican opponent, leading Biden in these battleground states. It focuses on battleground states in need.
The ads will run in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The super PAC plans to spend more than $16 million in Atlanta and $12 million in Phoenix, the paper said. The company also plans to spend $3 million in Madison, Wisconsin. and Reno, Nevada. $2 million in Flint, Michigan;
The Biden campaign declined to comment on the acquisition.
In 2020, Future Forward spent $151 million supporting the Biden campaign.
In 2023, Future Forward aired pro-Biden ads that focused on anti-inflation laws and targeted Latino voters in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. According to Politico.
