New poll sends shot across the bow to Biden’s re-election hopes as Trump surges in critical swing states

Donald Trump has widened his lead over President Joe Biden in key battleground states, according to a new poll.

of Latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult SurveyA report released Wednesday shows Trump leading Biden in seven battleground states critical to winning the presidential election: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. There was found.

The voting results are as follows.

  • Arizona — Trump: 47%, Biden: 44%
  • Georgia — Trump: 49%, Biden: 41%
  • Michigan — Trump: 47%, Biden: 42%
  • Nevada — Trump: 48%, Biden: 40%
  • North Carolina – Trump: 49%, Biden: 39%
  • Pennsylvania — Trump: 48%, Biden: 45%
  • Wisconsin — Trump: 49%, Biden: 44%

The poll was another warning sign for Democrats that Biden is a vulnerable candidate whose re-election is highly doubtful. Of particular concern to Biden is the fact that he won six of these seven states in the 2020 presidential election, losing only North Carolina.

With Election Day only nine months away, Biden trailing Trump by a statistically significant margin is the proverbial canary in the coal mine.

To make matters worse for Biden, Trump is leading in these states. grown immediately. Compared to the same poll conducted last month, Trump’s lead increased by 1 point in Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Georgia State is down by two points. In Nevada, it was a 5 point difference.

However, Biden gained 1 point over Trump in Arizona.

Additionally, a majority of the 4,956 registered voters surveyed blamed Biden for the border crisis, while significantly fewer blamed Trump or Republicans in Congress.

The findings confirm what other polls have found: voters trust President Trump on the issues they care about most, including the economy, crime, immigration, foreign policy and education.

Still, the polls aren’t all good news for President Trump. A slight majority of respondents, including 62% of moderate voters, said they would completely reject President Trump in November if he was convicted. This is a worrying metric for Trump, as moderate voters and independents are the voters likely to decide the outcome of the election.

Meanwhile, a new Quinnipiac poll finds Biden leading Trump nationally. Backed by support from independents.
