A complaint filed by America First Legal (AFL) with the Board of Professional Responsibility of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals questions Hunter Biden’s “integrity, trustworthiness and suitability” as an attorney.
As reported by Breitbart News, Mr. Hunter remains a member of the D.C. Bar Association in “good standing” despite his involvement in court proceedings and evidence of misconduct.
The AFL highlighted Hunter’s legal issues, including his Delaware gun case, influence-trafficking allegations, and his “failure” to register as a foreign agent.
“There is substantial evidence suggesting that Mr. Biden engaged in professional misconduct contrary to Rule 8.4. The public’s confidence in the integrity of lawyers rests on the consistent and fair application of the Rules of Professional Conduct. I request.” Said Reed D. Rubinstein, AFL Senior Advisor and Director of Oversight and Investigations; “When it comes to the discipline of lawyers, there should be one standard and only one standard. all member of the bar. ”
As of Thursday, the search function on the DC Bar’s website no longer provides results for “Robert Hunter Biden.” The attorney’s database previously listed Hunter as a member.
In February 2023, the DC Bar told Breitbart News that Hunter is “not a member of the DC Bar.”Barr’s statement was: consistent with Associated Press report In 2014, it claimed that “Biden is not listed as a member of Congress in current court records in the District of Columbia.” However, Hunter’s D.C. attorney license states that she was admitted to the bar in 2007.
Breitbart News responded with a screenshot of a search query on the D.C. attorney’s website that listed Hunter as a member. The D.C. Bar’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel responded that there was an error in the records search and that Hunter was in fact a member of the D.C. Bar.
“I confirm,” replied Phil Fox, disciplinary counsel for the D.C. Bar. “He’s hospitalized in Washington, D.C. We just didn’t know about him. [Hunter Biden’s] When we looked him up his first name was Robert. ”
