During the New Jersey Youth Wrestling Championships, a brawl broke out among the audience, and children were watching an amazing video show just meters away from the chaos.
The disturbing scene happened Sunday at Phillipsburg High School in Warren County, according to a video posted on . YouTube.
The video, shot from an angle of the match in progress, captured the moment the two men erupted into an all-out brawl in the school gymnasium.
After another match in the gymnasium, two men (one wearing a white T-shirt and hat, the other wearing a black hoodie and hat) scream and come and go at the edge of the wrestling mat. He was caught doing this.
With those words, the men immediately clashed in the face, with the man in the white coat persistently pushing the other man away.
Then all hell broke loose.
The two men start arguing, and the parents who were in the surrounding bleachers rush down.
The men pushed each other to the ground and grappled with each other as other parents crowded around them. Some of them immediately jumped into action and appeared to be trying to push and pull the men apart in a desperate effort to separate them.
However, other parents now involved were seen becoming violent, including pushing and shoving other parents who were not involved in the initial scuffle.
An altercation between the two sparked a brawl on the youth wrestling mat that involved at least 20 spectators.
The match between young Anderson Diaz and Alexander Finklestein, shown on YouTube, was abruptly stopped as referees rushed to defuse the situation.
After nearly a minute of pandemonium, the scuffle subsided and the parents exited the gym.
Taking a closer look at the turmoil, Posted in Xfootage showed parents rushing down from the bleachers as a large group grabbed each other in a heated exchange.
Another man wearing a flannel shirt was seen having to be forcibly pushed away from the scuffle by two other men, while a man wearing a white shirt who appeared to have started the violence became concerned. He is pinned down to the mat by his parents.

The video sparked harsh criticism across social media for the unruly behavior of parents.
“What a great way to show your manhood to boys,” one X user sarcastically replied.
“There is a reason for the zero-tolerance policy. If things continue like this, kids will be playing in empty gymnasiums and in front of empty bleachers. Reason,” another person chimed in in the comments.
“This is another example of sick parents organizing a youth sporting event just for themselves and not for their kids,” another wrote.
Phillipsburg High School is located approximately 110 miles east of New York City.
