Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh Wants to Live in a Trailer Park

If you’re a trailer park resident in Los Angeles, you’re going to have some really wealthy neighbors.

New Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh declared in his inaugural press conference that he has big plans for his tenure in Los Angeles. These plans include not just one, but multiple championships. It means winning by treating people with a “first-class attitude” and approaching each day with a “humble” attitude.

And Harbaugh plans to start working on all of this while living in a trailer park.

“We’re in one of the great cities in the world. I know Los Angeles, Southern California. They value talent, hard work, and winning,” Harbaugh said.

“It needs to be multiple, multiple championships. We’re going to stay humble and hungry, but that’s our goal. It’s about handling it with attitude and winning multiple championships.”

But wait, that’s not all.

“I told my wife about this, but should I tell her?” He paused, laughing.

“Okay, so you want to drive your RV and go to a trailer park, like by the water or near Disneyland. I looked into it and there are two near the facility. I want to do that.” jim rockfordWe’ll need that for a few more months before we move into a new facility. Such thoughts cross my mind. ”

Harbaugh emphasized his gratitude for his wife’s support during his career.

“My beautiful wife Sarah is doing great,” he said. “Thank you, moms. For everything you do to support me and support our family. The best, just the best thing that has happened to me. You are the best, amazing.”

Harbaugh signed with the Chargers just weeks after leading his alma mater, Michigan, to its first national championship since 1997. The former Wolverine head coach will earn $16 million a year while coaching the Chargers. That’s enough to cover the cost of his trailer park.
