Former President Donald Trump, the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, is on track to break Ronald Reagan’s record with his 14th appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
CPAC confirmed Friday that President Trump will speak at this year’s annual conference, to be held in Washington, D.C., February 21-24, 2024. According to CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp, President Trump will break President Reagan’s record with this appearance.
“President Trump will break President Reagan’s record by attending a major conference for the 14th time. Thank you, President #47!” he exclaimed.

Trump has spoken at CPAC’s annual conference for several years in a row and continues to dominate the event’s straw poll. A 2023 straw poll conducted at the party’s convention last March showed Trump receiving 62% support from more than 2,000 attendees.
The announcement comes just weeks after CPAC formally endorsed President Trump and declared it was time for the Republican Party to unite.
“CPAC enthusiastically supports Donald J. Trump for president of the United States,” Schlapp said in a statement in January, expressing confidence that “President Trump will win.”
“Far-left Marxists have infiltrated our colleges and universities, our elementary schools, our military, in fact all of our sacred institutions,” Schlapp said.
“As conditions at our border, our economy, and our culture deteriorate dramatically by the day, one man has clearly once again won the hearts of conservatives with his tireless efforts to make America great again,” Trump added. He made it clear that he believes in the president. He will be the 47th president, but the best for America is yet to come.
