Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday to fire several shots at former President Trump during a mock town hall on CNN.
Haley appeared during a CNN town hall skit in which viewers asked Trump, played by “SNL” star James Austin Johnson, questions.
“The next question comes from a self-proclaimed concerned South Carolina voter,” said Kenan Thompson, who plays Charles Barkley on CNN.
Haley stood up and asked Trump, “Why aren’t you debating Nikki Haley?”
“Oh my god, it’s her! It’s the woman who was in charge of security on January 6th. It’s Nancy Pelosi!” Austin, who plays Trump, is seen talking between former House Speaker Haley and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at a rally in New Hampshire. The former president responded by noting that he had been mixed up.

Haley asked as well. “Donald, are you okay? You may need to undergo a mental competency test.”
He said he “passed” the test, adding: “They said I was 100% mentally fit and capable because I am a man.”
‘SNL’ mocking Stefanik instead of college president was a ‘complete comedic breakdown’
President Trump also walked away to give Haley a nickname, saying, “Nikki Haley, Joel Osman, that’s what we call her. ‘Sixth Sense,’ remember those words. ‘Dead.’ ‘I can see people,’ he said.
“Yeah, that’s what voters will say when they see you and Joe.” [Biden] On the ballot,” Haley responded.

‘The Bear’ star Ayo Edebeli also asked a question during the skit, addressing Hailey’s recent gaffe.
“I was just curious, what do you think was the main cause of the Civil War? Do you think it starts with an ‘s’ and ends with ‘labery’?” asked Edebeli.
Haley replied, “Yeah, maybe you should have said that first.”

Haley faced significant backlash from the White House and Republicans on the campaign trail after refusing to mention slavery as a reason for the Civil War during a December town hall event.
“I think the cause of the Civil War was basically the way the government was run: freedom and what people could and couldn’t do,” she said at the time.
Haley has since clarified that although he believes the Civil War was caused by slavery, the “bigger issue” was determining the role of government in people’s lives.
