Republican presidential candidate and former governor Nikki Haley (R-South Carolina) made a surprise cameo appearance. saturday night live‘s cold open took place over the weekend, but it wasn’t a PR win, it just proved that the leftists Haley relies on for support hate her as much as they hate Donald Trump. was.
During the town hall sketch, Haley asked James Austin Johnson, who played former President Donald Trump, “My question is, why aren’t you debating Nikki Haley?” To which Johnson replied, “Oh my god, it’s her!” She is the woman who was in charge of security on January 6th. She’s Nancy Pelosi! ”

The cold open concluded with Haley mentioning the New Hampshire City Hall gaffe, in which she refused to answer “slavery” when asked about the cause of the Civil War.
“What do you think was the main cause of the Civil War? Do you think it started with ‘S’ and ended with ‘lavery’?” asked the actress who played the Town Hall audience member, to which Haley responded, “Well, first. “Maybe I should have said that.”
This cameo was met with significant backlash, with viewers quickly taking to social media to slam both SNL and Hailey, with one X/Twitter user joining in. calling it “Disgusting appearance.”
